Elastic Releases 6.0 with New User Experience Features for Managing and Operating the Elastic Stack

Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch, and the Elastic Stack, the most widely-used collection of open source products (with more than 150 million downloads since 2012) for solving mission-critical use cases like search, logging, security, metrics, and analytics, today announced general availability of its 6.0 release. Available both for Elastic’s on-premise offerings and in Elastic Cloud, the 6.0 release includes new capabilities to help organizations manage, deploy, and operate the Elastic Stack, new Kibana accessibility features, and performance improvements for handling data to improve storage and reduce costs.

Elastic Acquires SaaS Site Search Leader Swiftype

Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch, and the Elastic Stack, the most widely-used collection of open source products for solving mission-critical use cases like search, logging, and analytics, today announced that it has acquired Swiftype, a San Francisco-based startup founded in 2012 and backed by Y Combinator and New Enterprise Associates (NEA). Swiftype is the creator of the popular SaaS-based Site Search and the recently introduced Enterprise Search products.

Elastic Partners with Alibaba Cloud to Deliver Elasticsearch on Alibaba Cloud

Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch, and the Elastic Stack, the most widely used collection of open source products for solving mission-critical use cases like search, logging, and analytics, today announced a new partnership with Alibaba Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba Group, to deliver a joint hosted Elasticsearch offering on Alibaba Cloud for the China market. Unveiled today during a keynote at The Computing Conference 2017, the new service , Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch, will allow Alibaba Cloud customers to deploy Elastic’s powerful real-time search, ingestion, and analytical features as a hosted and turnkey solution.

Elastic Delivers ArcSight Integration for Flexible, Scalable, and Real-Time Security Analytics Capabilities

Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch, and the Elastic Stack, the most widely used collection of open source products for solving mission-critical use cases like search, logging, and analytics, today announced a new partnership with Micro Focus and product integration between the Elastic Stack and ArcSight. Unveiled today during the keynote at Protect 2017, this new partnership combines Elastic’s open source search, logging and analytics products with the ArcSight Data Platform (ADP), a best-in-class open platform for collecting, enriching and normalizing security data, to provide real-time capabilities and ad hoc security data exploration at scale.

Elastic Launches Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE)

Elastic, the company behind Elasticsearch, and the Elastic Stack, the most widely used collection of open source products for solving mission-critical use cases like search, logging, and analytics, announces the general availability of Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE). This new product will enable organizations to centralize the management, monitoring, and provisioning of multiple Elastic Stack clusters; easily deploy X-Pack features such as security, alerting, monitoring, Graph, reporting, and machine learning; and run Elasticsearch, Kibana, and X-Pack on physical hardware, in a virtual environment, private cloud, in a private zone in a public cloud, or in a public cloud, such as, Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.

Elastic Adds Machine Learning into the Elastic Stack
